Stocks Template
Ready settings for a stocks strategy driven by TradingView alerts, and how IBKR, Tradier, Charles Schwab, Robinhood and STG / DAS differ for stocks.
Who it is for
This template is for traders who send buy and sell alerts from TradingView indicators. When an alert fires, the strategy places the stock order in your broker. A stock room on Discord or Telegram works too: change the source and turn on AI selling.
Settings
Start from the TradingView to Interactive Brokers template, then set these values. The Strategy Editor explains each setting.

Things the editor does for you:
- Tradier. The strategy name must be lowercase with hyphens, 20 characters at most. The editor formats the name as you type.
- Charles Schwab. Use Limit when Allow extended hours is on. Schwab refuses the market order.
Test it
Fire your TradingView alert once with the smallest size, or use Test signal on the Strategies page. Follow Test before you go live.
